When South Vacaville resident John Tomasini had his car flooded several years ago due to torrential rains, he knew the vehicle was going to need substantial work to get it back on the road. Then he saw an ad in The Reporter. Clarence Williams, Jr., president and general manager of Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep of Vacaville, said in the ad that his dealership would repair flooded vehicles at no charge.
"I brought the car in and they treated me like I had just purchased it from them" Tomasini recalls today. "They made the necessary repairs, didn't charge me a nickel and I was back on the road. I couldn't believe a dealer would do something like this. But I've known about Clarence Williams for a long time. He does a tremendous amount for this community and this was just one more example.
After his car was fixed,Tomasini told Clarence that if he was ever in the market for a new vehicle he would come in and see him. That's exactly what he did. He purchased a new Ram Pick-Up. "It was an easy decision for me," Tomasini says. "I wouldn't buy a vehicle anywhere else." |
