Trim Levels


The SXT and GT offer a colored grille with chrome accents, chrome bodyside inserts, body-colored bumpers and door handles, power-folding heated side mirrors, rear lip spoiler, fog lamps, and fully automatic headlamps. The R/T adds door mirrors with integrated turn signals, and a power liftgate, while the Citadel features a chrome grille and door handles, and a roof rack. The unique features of the top-of-the-line SRT include a performance hood with dual heat extractors and an air intake, and SRT body-color grille.



Engine


SXT, GT, and Citadel trims offer a 293 horsepower 3.6-liter V-6 engine giving you 260 pound-feet of torque via an eight-speed automatic transmission. The R/T features a 5.7-liter V-8 unit producing 360 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque. In the SRT you'll find a 6.4-liter engine that pumps out 475 horsepower and an impressive 470 pound-feet of torque to all four wheels. AWD is optional on other trims.



Performance


The V-6 will get you from 0 to 60 mph in 8.1 seconds while returning up to 21 mpg for combined city and highway driving. The R/T's 5.7-liter V-8 has a 0 to 60 time of 6.2 seconds and returns 17 mpg for combined driving. With the SRT it's all about power, and the 6.4-liter V-8 will take you from zero to 60 mph in just 4.4 seconds.



Interior


To maximize the passenger and cargo capacity, the Durango offers more than 50 seating configurations, depending on the model and seat options. The SXT seats five and features cloth upholstery, front bucket seats with fold-flat passenger seat, and 60/40 split folding rear seats. The leather steering wheel has controls for cruise and audio. The infotainment system includes a 7-inch touchscreen, six-speaker audio system with satellite radio and voice activation, smartphone integration, and wireless connectivity. GT trim adds eight-way power driver's seat and power-folding third-row seating, while the Citadel offers leather upholstery with heated front and rear seats, leather door panels with simulated wood inserts, 4G Wi-Fi hot spot, nine-speaker Alpine sound system with 506-watt amp, and a power moonroof. The R/T features leather and simulated suede seating and the SRT has leather upholstery with second-row bucket seats.



Safety Features


Standard safety equipment includes front, side, knee, and overhead air bags, side-impact bars, traction control, electronic stability control with anti-roll, assisted ABS, and a rear camera. The GT has daytime running lights, automatic-dimming rearview mirror, and rear park assist. Citadel adds four-wheel ventilated disc brakes, high-intensity discharge headlamps, rain-sensitive wipers, front park assist, while SRT models feature high-performance suspension and a Brembo braking system.
