There are now just four trim levels for the Pacifica. The Touring starts the lineup with 17-inch wheels, heated side mirrors, fog lights, a power sliding door, and a power liftgate. Stepping up to the Touring L will add roof rails. The Touring L Plus has the same exterior features as the Touring L, but adds more technology inside. At the top of the lineup, the Limited has 18-inch wheels, LED fog lights, power-folding mirrors, xenon headlights, and an auto-dimming mirror on the driver's side. It also comes with a hands-free power sliding door and a hands-free liftgate.
All the gas-powered Pacifica models have a 3.6-liter V-6 engine that produces 287 horsepower. All trims have a nine-speed automatic transmission, and they are front-wheel drive. There is a hybrid version of the Pacifica that has the 3.6-liter V-8 along with two electric motors. The combination produces 260 horsepower, and this version comes with a CVT. The hybrid also adds a 16-kWh battery.
Gas mileage for the gas Pacifica is higher than the average minivan. You can get up to 19 miles per gallon in the city and 28 miles per gallon on the highway. The strong V-6 accelerates quickly and provides the power for confident passing on the highway, while the suspension makes the Pacifica cruise smoothly down any road. If you have the hybrid version, it can get 30 miles of all-electric range.
Depending on the configuration, the 2020 Pacifica has room for either seven or eight passengers. Cloth seats come standard in the first few trims with leather available as an upgrade, or standard in the higher trims. You can also get heated front seats, heated second-row captain's chairs, a power-folding bench seat in the third row, and a power-adjustable front passenger seat. Additional upgrades include a leather-wrapped steering wheel, driver-seat memory functions, and a heated steering wheel. For technology, the Touring has a 7-inch touch screen, satellite radio, the Uconnect infotainment system which comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Touring L Plus adds an 8.4-inch touch screen, navigation, a Wi-Fi hot spot, and a 115-volt power outlet. This trim also adds an entertainment system for the rear-seat passengers with a Blu-ray Player.
A rearview mirror comes standard in all the 2020 Pacificas. Adding the Advanced Safety Tech package to any of the trims will get you automatic high beams, lane departure warning, automatic windshield wipers, and automatic emergency braking. This package also bundles lane departure warning, an automated parking system, forward collision warning, and a surround-view camera system along with adaptive cruise control and front parking sensors.
