Trim Levels
The 2020 Ram 1500 is available in six different trim styles: Laramie, Bighorn, Tradesman, Limited, Laramie Longhorn edition, and Rebel. 18-inch, 20inch, and 22inch aluminum rims are available in all trim styles. The RamBox® is a lockable, lighted storage compartment that runs along the sides of the truck bed. The two boxes provide an additional 8.6 cubic feet of storage, and protection from the elements. The 2020 Ram is available in a wide range of colors and detail styles.
Engine
The 2020 Ram 1500 offers four different engine choices to meet your driving and hauling needs. Standard on all trim levels is the 3.6-liter PentaStar® V-6 engine with eTorque. This capable engine offers up 305 horsepower and 269 pound-feet of torque. Burlier engine options are available for those who need more power. The 5.7-liter Hemi® V-8 engine provides 395 horsepower, 410 pound-feet of torque, and a towing capacity of 11,610 pounds. This is also available as an eTorque engine. Both provide best in class fuel economy for V-8s and 4 WD. The newly introduced 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V-6 engine provides plenty of power, 480 pound-feet of torque, and the ability to tow 12,560 pounds.
Performance
Take your toys along for the ride with a towing capacity of 7,730 pounds with the base engine. Upgrade to the Hemi® V-8 for 11,610 pounds, and get 12,750 with the eTorque. The Ram 1500 engines are attached to the TorqueFlite® eight-speed automatic transmission. The built-in eTorque Mild Hybrid System is next-level technology that adjusts shift patterns and points to maximize efficiency and power. The standard PentaStar® V-6 engine boasts best in class fuel economy.
Interior
The 2020 Ram 1500 comfortably seats five in reclining cloth seats (leather available in some models). An optional 10 square foot sunroof can be added. The 1500 boasts a 12-ich touchscreen located in the center console. Full screen navigation makes getting there a snap, and the Sirius XM radio makes the drive a pleasure. To top it all off the 900W Harman Kardon® premium audio system features 19 speakers and plenty of power to make your favorite songs pop and your bass drop.
Safety Features
The 2020 Ram 1500 touts the most technologically up-to-date safety features available. 360-degree cameras let you see all around the vehicle while backing up or unloading cargo. Blind spot monitoring, cross traffic detection, and trailer detection alert you to any possible driving hazards. Smart cruising lets you set not just the rate of speed, but also the distance between you and the traffic ahead. Lane departure warning prevents unintended drifting, and guided parking assists once you've arrived. The 1500 has the largest brakes in its class. The high-strength steel frame along with six standard air bags help keep you safe in the event of collision.
