Sky Spectacular
Arguably the most popular New Year’s happening being held in Sacramento is the Sky Spectacular. This event features numerous activities suitable for the whole family, including children’s programming, hot food and drink vendors, street entertainment, and live music. The fun is topped off with a massive fireworks display over the river that lights up the sky in an array of breathtaking colors. All other events being held simultaneously will be put on hold at 9 p.m., so you never have to worry about missing other events because you’re watching the unforgettable fireworks display.
River Cruise
While the Sky Spectacular lets you enjoy the fireworks from the street, the River Cruise will take you to the water where you can see the fireworks burst overhead in a vibrant burst of light. The cruise will take you under several bridges on its route, and champagne is entirely complimentary. The cruise lasts an hour and a half and features a DJ playing top 40 hits. A full bar and snacks are available for purchase.
Teen Art Party
If your teens are looking for New Year’s fun, the Teen Art Party at Just For Fun Art will feature plenty of exciting activities. The older teens from 14-17 will have their own studio room with a karaoke machine and complete control over their own music. All guests are free to participate in the art activities which include acrylic painting and crafting confetti poppers, hats, and noisemakers. Once midnight arrives, teens can toast 2020 with sparkling cider. A photo booth will be on-site for commemorating the evening, complete with props.
Masquerade on the Mezzanine
Stop by the Bank 629 J, and you can attend an unforgettable masquerade party. This event features DJ Jay Hernandez and attendees get special access to exclusive bottle pricing and a photo station. Champagne for the toast at midnight is complimentary.
